Simon already blogged about this here.  But there are two sides to every story, so…

As Simon said, we saw a whole lotta Ferraris last weekend.  There must have been 20 or so parked outside the hotel where we lunched like the fancy people we are.  Though you get used to seeing expensive luxury cars all the time in this country (like the Bentley that was parked outside the cheap Indian grocery store near my apartment on Friday), seeing tens of Ferraris at once warrants some photos.

 

Simon and I were on Yas Island visiting our friends Kelly and Alan, who do not read this blog but should.  Because it’s about them sometimes!

I asked someone to take a picture of the four of us and I just realized that the stranger somehow warped the hell out of us.  I didn’t even know my phone did that.  Or maybe it doesn’t and we’re going to die in 7 days.  It’s almost Halloween, so that’s an appropriate joke.

Creeeeepy… Do-do-do-do…

We went to a bar/restaurant called Stars ‘n’ Bars and that’s where we stayed for the rest of the night.  

It was 80’s night and some people went all out with the leotards and wigs and roller skates.  We improvised.

Clearly the front-camera on the iPhone + super red lights ≠ good pictures.  It = GREAT pictures.
