Hello there! I'm Sheryn, a 26-year-old American girl who lives in Dubai. This is my blog (duh). I like to blog because it helps make my memories last longer. Much like pictures. Which this blog often contains. If you're not related to me, I'm not sure why you're reading this. Hello? Contact me: dubaiandi.tumblr@gmail.com Cooking Blog: www.allthecalories.com

Last April I ordered myself 4 pairs of Havaianas online, then returned them because I was a doofus and ordered the wrong size. (Doofus??) While I was waiting on the refund I placed the order again (this time ordering the correct size) and asked some friends and some fellow Tumblrs (hi Gubbi and Michelle and also Lindsay even though I don’t think you ordered any Havaianas!) if they’d like to add to my order since the shipping was free and blah blah blah.
I never received the refund for the sandals I returned, and my emails and calls last year were all fruitless.
So yesterday I sent this email:

“I networked for Havaianas and increased your sales!”
(Yes, I’m embarrassed that I spelled it “sandles” (and am still not 100% sure you’re not technically allowed to spell it the way), but I was in a fit of rage! RAGE!)
Within hours, I received a response. After May-June-July-August-September-October-November-December EIGHT MONTHS of being ignored.

It’s not even 7am yet (last day of work for the week, woo!), and this has set a nice tone for my day. Thank you Havaianas, I shall continue to worship your marshmallow-like cushiony flip-flops above all others, and if we have any issues in the future I’ll know to open with “Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!” in a large font. That seems to get your attention.
