So I was sitting outside and texting Simon and I saw something on my shirt out of the corner of my eye. I assumed it was a leaf, because of course leaves often land on my shirt out here in the desert. Once I realized it was ALIVE, I was all “Get away from me! Leave!”. I said that, out loud.
Then I realized that during my THERE’S A BUG ON ME freakout I had managed to hit the “take photo?” button on my phone. Then I realized it wasn’t just a bug, it was a MOTH!
I love moths. Moths are cute. Plus, really, moths are actually butterflies that gave their colors away to make the world a more beautiful place.
I don’t know where I heard that, but I think that’s probably why I do not fear moths. I told my 15 year old sister that once and she stared at me blankly then burst into laughter… “That’s the stupidest thing I’ve EVER heard!!!”
Hahaha… Maybe it is.
